and counting........

good grief I Will be glad when this is all over!..I know..bah humbug........but seriously folks this season has about killed me......after work today I have to go buy the rest of stocking stuffers, my boss' gifts and my best friends.......I think I am done after that.I BETTER be done after that......we have successfully spent over 850.00 this Christmas....and that is just for the kids.....not my doing though...not at all...hubby's to credit for this money outburst......why you ask?....I couldn't tell ya...considering he got a pay DECREASE a month ago....all the directors did in the company ....one would think you would lower one's spending......apparently not him.......

I'm in trouble.....

ok.....it's like 8 days before Christmas and I haven't purchased ONE gift.not one!....between meetings and work I haven't had time plus I have had the kids all the time.......I'm starting to really stress over this.....I plan on going this Friday night and wiping everything out....at least the kids.....I mean....I HAVE to get the kids stuff.....this is crazy.......on a good note the children of the mother who was killed in front of my neighbrhood last week came to our Christmas social this past Sunday. Such sweet kids.....I Invited them b/c I knew this was the only chance for them to get a pic with Santa and I knew the Grandmother (who will now be raising an 8 month old and a 2 1/2 year old) doesn't have the money.....I put out an email to my community asking for needed items, such as a crib, diapers, sheets and blankets, and all of those needs were met the veyr next day. I am hoping I can take care of their Christmas as well.....God willing

It's Been A While....

Hey Everyone...it's been a while.....I just got back from my LAST interview and gave my final tally from my 2nd Annual East Brainerd Share Your Christmas and I am EXHAUSTED....it's been a LONG past 3-4 weeks...lots of work and not much sleep.....but I am done...it was a good but cold weekend for the event and a lot of my close friends and fmaily came out to support me and help. I have another projec that I am going to be starting on......a young girl was kille din front of my neighborhood last Thursday and her mom called me onSaturday night after I got home from the food drive...she had heard that I help in the community and was reaching out to me because they are very poor and the girl that was killed has 2 little children her now have no mother and the father isn't involved. I feel I can help pull something off for their Christmas....I don't know this lady but I figure if she called, then she called for a reason and it is meant for me to help somehow and in someway....she initially was wanting me to find a way to raise money for the funeral but I don't have time to raise that kind of cash......kids are doing well...hubby is doing well...now we can finally go get a tree and decorate for the holidays...i hope everyone is doing well and is safe...
